Since 1992 Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 has been the leading safety label in the textile and clothing industry. Products labelled with the sign are free from any harmful substances in concentrations that may influence human health. These are pesticides, chlorinated phenols, formaldehyde, allergic colourants, prohibited azo dyes and extractable heavy metals.
Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate is a confirmation of compliance with all requirements included in Annex XVII of the REACH Regulation (including azo dyes, nickel, etc.), US ICPSIA regulations on lead content in children's products (excluding accessories made of glass), as well as Polish regulations on safety of textile products (Regulation of the Council of Ministers from April 6, 2004, Journal of Laws No. 81 Item 743 as amended). The label facilitates sales of textiles on national markets within the European Union, in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the USA, Canada, Japan and other countries.
